PERL can support graphics, as shown on the right.
The PERL hDial (text as well as graphics) and the PERL
vDial (text only), along with notes are in this file here.
The notes address a couple of Perl systems, an optional
Perl IDE, and helpful ideas. ActiveState was chosen as
the Perl system to use, and the Open_Perl_IDE was
chosen as the IDE. Both were free. However, Windows
wordpad or notepad work as simple Perl editors, and
double clicking the Perl program invokes the ActiveState
