They may not be more current than the printed books, and may have more or less pages. These versions may or may not ever be printed, it depends on sales, feedback, and interest. Their print resolution is less detailed and segments are 5mb or less. The reference page is the best source for corrections or clarifications. ___________________________________ The books are in the b1 or b2 folder accessible by the b1 and b2 userids. Password needed, email if you purchased the books before these folders were established, and after verification I will send you the access password. The b2 userid/password works for the b1 folder. |
| BOOK 2 ~ ~ ~ book 2 folder (book 2 userid and password works here) To access these files, you will need a userid and a password. Anyone who bought the printed book 2 itself (which includes free the CD with books 1 and 2 on it)) was given a userid and password when you bought the book. Or if you email me here using the email you used when you bought the second book, I will send you the current userid and password. Email is checked every day at least once, usually three times. Then click this link here and it will ask for the userid and password. Enter them, and you will be placed in a directory. That directory has the front and back covers, the chapters and the appendices for book 2, and all file names begin with "b2". Those files are compressed so they have less resolution than the files on the CD. Each file is less than 4mb. I recommend a high speed connection! A sample of a few pages from book 2 is here. BOOK 1 ~ ~ ~ book 1 folder (book 1 or book 2 userid and password works here) Also, all of book 1 is also be on this site, again compressed. And those file names all begin with "b1". They are in a different folder, click here. It also needs a password and userid. The Book 2 userid and password also works for this book 1 folder (however the book 1 userid and password do not work for book 2). NOTE: book 1 on a CD is not sold alone, it is provided free of charge with book 2 on the CD, and that CD has all the extras for free also. File names are bxcxxcyy....pdf where bx is b1 or b2 b1 is Illustrating Shadows b2 is Illustrating More Shadows cxxcyy where cxxcyy are chapters xx through yy The userids are not likely to change, however, the password may change. If they do, it will use a password conatined in the book, and this page will tell you what page, or what page in what chapter, then what paragraph, line, and word. |
